This Islamic Parenting Seminar is designed to support parents in nurturing children with sound faith, upright character, and a strong sense of Islamic identity in today’s digital age.
The session will be led by Prof Mohamad Abdalla, Professor in the School of Education at Adelaide University, a respected scholar and educator with extensive experience in Islamic education and tarbiyah.
The seminar will explore:
• The role of parents as the first murabbis in cultivating faith and character• Strengthening Islamic identity within the home amidst contemporary influences• Establishing purposeful routines that support tarbiyah in daily family life• Insights from the Prophetic model of parenting and applying it to our times
This session aims to equip parents with practical, thoughtful guidance to approach parenting in today’s digital age with confidence, clarity, and ihsan.
